On 26 November, on the day of Nicholas John Chrysostom, Archbishop of Constantinople, a Sunday service was held in the Temple of the Holy Archangel Michael. After the liturgy was prayer for Saint John Zlatoust.
Archpriest Giorgi (Kipa) explained to the members of the Gospel parable of the Good Samaritan.
This parable is an example of charity and love that was given to a man of a tribe other than the Jews. The word of the Lord is addressed to all people at all times. This parable is the warning of God from hardness. Lawman and Levitte were raised in the Law of God, and still did not help the wounded traveler. They seemed pious only on the outside. What do you have to do to get into paradise halls, how much good? There is a danger in the very setting of this issue, and God cannot bargain, it’s not a deal. A man must be a vessel of God’s grace. We must love all, not just friends and family.
In Sunday school, after the lessons, children celebrated George’s and Mikcle’s name-days.
